On April 20th 2013 a humble group was conceived and convened by Dr Vinod Gautam with an aim to provide the basic health education services to the most needed ones. Dr Satish Jindal a senior family Physician, Dr Raj Kumar Garg, Paediatrician, Dr Pawan Singhania, Surgeon and Dr R K Goel, Dental Surgeon joined as founder members. On 21st April 2013 we started a small and humble effort to initiate health education activities under the banner of Swasthya Chetna Manch .We started our activities by holding mini camps aimed to educate particularly the basic hygiene and cleanliness to the children. The aims and objectives of the group are to spread the health and hygiene awareness particularly in young children and provide the health education and basic health checkups in remote and slum areas.
The funding has been contributory and by voluntary donations.
The activities during the year2013-2014:

On 21/4/13 the 1st minicamp was organized at Bal Kalyan Ashram behind the Zila parishad Bhawan Karnal Road.Dr Garg and Dr Gautam attended. All the children were medically examined and medicines were distributed to the needy.Mr Tushar assisted.

On2/6/13 the 2nd camp was held at Viklang Ashrama near Patti Afgan village.Dr Jindal and Dr Gautam attended. Inmates were medically examined and the medicines given to the needy ones.Mr Tushar assisted.

On20/7/13 the 3rd camp was held at Sain primary school, Chandana Gate Kaithal.Dr Jindal, Dr Garg Dr goel and Dr Gautam attended. All the children were examined and medicines given to the needy ones. Tooth brushes and tooth pastes were given to all the children. School dresses for ten students were donated by Dr RK Goal.Mr Vakil assisted.

On24/8/13 the 4th camp was held at Govt .Primary School ,Nanakpuri  Colony ,Kaithal and attended by Dr Jindal,Dr Singhania,Dr Gautam.All the children of 1st to 3rd class were medically examined and  medicines given to the needy ones.30 hygiene kits were awarded to the selected students. The standard hygiene kit comprised one towel, one soap, one small toothpaste, one toothbrush and one nail cutter.Mr.Tushar assisted.

On 26/10/13 the 5th camp was held in Jhuggis near railway crossing adjoining bus stand Kaithal.The inmates were medically examined and 14 kits along with candles for Diwali festival were distributed. The camp was attended by Dr Garg and Dr Gautam.

On15/11/13 the6th camp was held at Govt Primary school HUDA Kaithal and attended by Dr Jindal, DrGoel and Dr Gautam. Mr. Jaswinder assisted. About 300 children were examined and 30 hygiene kits were awarded.

On4/3/14 7th camp was held at OSDN Public school Patel Nagar Kaithal and attended by Dr Jindal, Dr Goel, Dr Singhania and Dr Gautam . About 250 children were examined and 24 hygiene kits were awarded.

On 26/4/14, 8th camp was held at Sain Vidya Mandir near Gita Bhawan, Kaithal.A Quiz was organized by Dr Vinod Gautam.The children from 1st to 5th standard were examined for hygiene and the winners selected and awarded along with the winners of the Quiz. A total of 30 Hygiene kits were awarded. The camp was attended by Dr Garg, Dr Singhania and Dr Goel and assisted by Mr Vakil.
